Calle Bandera N° 46-52, Santiago.
This building is one of the most representative components of the democratic life in Chile. The current construction dates back to 1901, upon lands that belonged to the Jesuits, and where some years before, in 1863, more than 2000 parishioners died in the fire of the Compañía de Jesús Church. Its architecture is characterised by plain French neoclassic style lines. The National Congress operated there until 1973. It was declared National Monument in 1976.
